We will again be hosting the Cock-A-Doodle-Shoe snowshoe races this year at the NLT, on January 18th at 10AM. Register at www.cockadoodleshoe.com . There will be a 5K and a 10K race and a free Kids' 1/2 Mile Snowshoe Scramble. All proceeds benefit the New Land Trust. See you there! Cock-a-Doodle-Shoe!

The New Land Trust's annual Chili Fest is coming up! Join us for a cozy get-together for chili and great company Sunday Feb 22, 2026 at noon, with skiing and snowshoeing before and after. Bring a warm pot of chili and/or finger foods to share.

Thanks to a grant facilitated by the Clinton County Youth Bureau, the New Land Trust is pleased to be able to offer free full season use of cross-country skis or snowshoes to Clinton County youth residents again this year. Return the equipment in the spring. This year's equipment pickup day is Saturday November 15th from 10AM to Noon at the NLT clubhouse, 236 Plumadore Road, Saranac. First come, first served.
